The elegant, quiet and sophisticated facility was built with one of Generalissimo Chiang Kai-Shek's former villas at its core, thoroughly refurbished and now looking chic and ultra-modern.

Extensive use has been made of traditional Taiwanese elements, notably wickerwork, lanterns and hexagonal brickwork symbolizing long life. Rooms are bright and siry, with light woods prominent, and are green-designed to let in maximum sunlight and fresh air.
